Dale Styers of Floyd Against Drugs Talks to Alto Elementary Students about Smoking and Vaping

On May 18 and 19th, Dale Styers from Floyd Against Drugs had the privilege of speaking to 122 4th and 5th graders at Alto Park Elementary School on the dangers and risks associated with smoking and vaping.

"What a wonderful group of kids!" said Styers. "A huge shout out to the teachers there and their counselor Erika White. These ladies have a huge task day in and day out. I have immense appreciation for you. Have a wonderful summer vacation!"

Floyd Against Drugs just wrapped up their Drug Prevention Week activities. Drug Prevention Week is a chance for communities to stand up to prevent misuse of illegal drugs, opioids, marijuana, tobacco, alcohol, and prevent suicide and mental illness.
