On Saturday, October 23rd, Redmond Regional Medical Center will host their fourth annual opioid and unused medication take-back event. We are proud to partner with our friends at Redmond and the Floyd County Sheriff's Office to raise awareness about the dangers of opioid misuse and proper disposal of medication.
We invite our community to safely and anonymously dispose of any unused medications at this event. The collection site will be located at the Main Entrance of Redmond Regional Medical Center in order to accommodate drive-through drop-offs and social distancing.
This event coincides with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration's) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. We encourage you to begin gathering your unused medications for safe and proper disposal at our Drug Drop.
