Local students celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a door-decorating contest themed “Life is a puzzle—solve it drug free.” Twelve classrooms across five schools participated, and each will enjoy an ice cream party from Floyd Against Drugs.

$2,000 donation from Floyd Against Drugs helped furnish a new four-bedroom rapid rehousing unit for Floyd County Drug Court participants, giving families in recovery a safe, supportive space to start fresh.

Floyd Against Drugs, in partnership with AdventHealth Redmond and the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, collected over 61 pounds of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medications during the October 25th Drug Drop event.

Floyd Against Drugs has donated $2,000 to the Rome-Floyd Drug Court to support housing for participants in recovery. The funding helps provide safe, stable housing—a vital step toward rehabilitation and lasting change.

FAD donated $500 to Brother’s Place to fund weekly drug screening tests for residents in recovery. Supporting accountability, health, and hope in our community.

Floyd Against Drugs was proud to join the 23rd annual HIM+ Health Fair, hosted by 100 Black Men of Rome–Northwest Georgia. The event drew 300 attendees for screenings, education, vendors, and giveaways promoting community wellness.

Floyd Against Drugs donated $600 to the Floyd County Police Department for impairment simulation goggles, helping educate drivers on the dangers of impaired driving at schools and community events.
