On May 20, the Floyd Against Drugs Board of Directors generously donated 12 medicine lockboxes to Brother’s Place, a supportive housing facility for men that is set to open in June.
Brother’s Place provides a safe and stable environment for men facing homelessness, addiction, and mental health challenges. The facility can accommodate up to 12 residents, each of whom may stay for up to 18 months while participating in a structured three-phase program.
Residents pay $500 per month, which includes meals, and are expected to maintain employment, share in daily meal preparation, and engage in various group activities such as Bible studies, recovery support sessions, and life skills classes.
Community is at the heart of Brother’s Place. The organization is committed to building strong partnerships with individuals and organizations to create meaningful connections and support the growth and well-being of its residents.
