Students across Rome City Schools found a fun and meaningful way to celebrate National Red Ribbon Week this year through a spirited door-decorating contest based on the theme “Life is a puzzle—solve it drug free.”
Classrooms embraced the challenge with creativity, teamwork, and positive messages promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Teachers and students worked together to turn their classroom doors into colorful displays featuring puzzle pieces, inspirational quotes, and imaginative artwork that brought the theme to life.
Floyd Against Drugs is proud to support activities that empower young people to make safe, informed choices. As a thank-you for their participation and enthusiasm, every participating classroom will receive an ice cream party sponsored by Floyd Against Drugs.
This year’s contest included 12 classrooms across the following schools:
Alto Park Elementary
East Central Elementary
Elm Street Elementary
West Central Elementary
West End Elementary
We’re so proud of these students for embracing Red Ribbon Week and using their creativity to spread an important message throughout their schools. Thank you to the teachers, administrators, and families who support prevention education in our community—your involvement truly makes a difference.
