Floyd Against Drugs board meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month at the Health Department in Rome, GA. The meetings are open to the public and start at noon and run to approximately 1:30 p.m.
At our July meeting, Dale Styers, the new Executive Director, was introduced.
This month we also discussed upcoming activities: Sticker Shock Campaign and scheduling a Drug Drop for late August or mid September. The annual progress report will be printed in early August. FAD has a huge project that will be finished in late July that will be unveiled with a ribbon cutting to be announced soon. All our activities are dependent on the current COVID-19 situation.
The board voted on and accepted the decision to join the Rome Chamber of Commerce and the Noon Optimist Club.
