On Saturday, March 26th Floyd Against Drugs (FAD) co-sponsored a Family Fun Event of bowling at the Floyd Amusement and Bowling Center. A mini-grant was obtained from the Rome-Floyd Commission on Children and Youth, and sponsorships by Phi Beta Sigma, 100 Black Men of Rome-Northwest Georgia, Tau Mu Mu, the UPS Store, and FAD made the event possible. The bowling center was reserved with 23 of the 24 lanes being used by approximately 140 youth and adults in attendance. Pizza, fruit, cookies, and bottled water were provided.
